MORNING BEVERAGES

We get questions all the time about our menu. People want to know what different items are, or how spicy certain choices are. If you don't know what something is, don’t ever hesitate to ask when you're ordering.

Food

Regular Chicken – boneless white chicken meat, lightly seasoned

Grilled Chicken – marinated and grilled chicken

Carnitas – roast pork with traditional Mexican style seasoning; full of flavor but not too spicy

Chile Verde – braised pork, roasted with a variety of hot peppers, spicy

Steak – grilled steak, lightly seasoned

Al Pastor – marinated pork cooked on a rotisserie with pineapple and onions

Taco Al Pastor – a small corn tortilla with marinated pork cooked on a rotisserie with pineapple, topped with onions, cilantro and a wedge of lime. Two sauces are included: the red sauce is tomato-based with Mexican spices and the green sauce is a spicy guacamole sauce. Three tacos are a good portion for most people, though we have seen one person eat 14!

Grilled Vegetables – your choice of lightly seasoned onions, broccoli, corn zucchini, squash, eggplant, sweet potatoes and some seasonally available vegetables

Rice – Mexican rice or vegetarian (no chicken broth used)

Hot Sauce –combination of hot peppers with onions, garlic and a touch of cilantro; medium spiciness

Jalapenos – fairly hot peppers; add these at no charge

Guacamole – mashed avocados with onions, tomatoes and a little sour cream

Salsa – fresh tomatoes, onions and lots of cilantro

Drinks

Lemonade -- made fresh every day, lightly sweetened

Orange Juice -- fresh squeezed every day

Soda Fountain -- Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta, Barq's Root Beer, soda water

Jumex canned juices -- Apple, Apricot, Guava, Mango, Pear, Strawberry/Banana, and Tamarind

Jarritos Mexican Sodas in glass bottles -- Apple, Fruit Punch, Grapefruit, Guava, Lime, Orange, and Tamarind

Horchata – traditional, sweet, cold Mexican drink made from ground almonds and milk; made every day

Jamaica -- traditional cold Mexican drink made from boiled Passion Flower petals. Often called a Mexican fruit punch;. made every day.
